BETA Society
The BETA Society is a group of supporters who have made a lasting commitment to diabetes research by making a life income gift or by naming JDRF as a beneficiary in their estate plans. The BETA Society is a way for us to recognize and honor visionary individuals who will help provide the present and future financial energy needed for diabetes research.
There is no minimum commitment amount required for membership in the BETA Society. We are grateful for any information you choose to share related to your plans. We do not require copies of your planning documents (wills, trusts, etc)-- we simply ask you to confirm your commitment by filling out a membership form.
The following types of commitments qualify you for membership in the BETA Society:
If you have already included JDRF in a bequest or other planned gift, we hope you will let us know, so that we can thank you appropriately. Your willingness to be listed as a member of the BETA Society encourages others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we urge you to let us know so that we can recognize you for your commitment.
Of course, if you have not yet included JDRF in your plans and you would like to explore the best options for you and your family, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be glad to assist you on a confidential basis and without any obligation.
BETA Society gifts ensure that critical diabetes research continues to be funded until a cure is found. Members receive a distinctive lapel pin, a lifetime subscription to JDRF’s Countdown magazine and invitations to research updates and lab tours. You will also receive timely information, tips, and ongoing professional gift planning services from the Office of Planned Giving.
